World of Tharyg: the Sionilli Peninsula
Fen'roth "Fenris" Riordanth
Taken by barbaric Orc raiders as a baby for food, his fate nearly ended there. A small two man party was dispatched to find and eliminate the horde of orcs, luckily for the baby they were just in time. Saved by a single Bladesinger named Riordan Valkryn, he took in the baby as his own. Trained to his finest and at the prime youthful age of 25 Fen’roth or “Fenris” as he was nicknamed went out to his first high-security mission as Captain with about another two dozen Bladesingers. This was high priority a Infernal infection was running rampant and nearing the village this was what had to be stopped. His troupe had reached the Hive a node of one of the many needed to be destroyed. They entered and fought many til they gradually became surrounded, the endless amounts of demonic fey spirits. Being Captain Fenris had telepathic communion with the village elders needing to retreat to regroup and acquire more forces to take on such an infection. He was denied the elders saying the threat too big to be left. Fenris could not follow such an order and decided to retreat for the moment. To their horror the troupe was sealed in and the Hive seemed to change so leaving was not an option. Dozens of Bladesingers littered the ground all except one…Fenris. By luck or fate he survived and crawled through hell to his freedom. Though through impossible feats and determination Fenris did not return a hero, he immediately jailed and court-martialed, being blamed for reckless command and a murder it was wrong and Fenris sensed evil intent in the elders except his father. Being sentenced to death, his fate challenged once more and once again evading death it seemed his luck ran out. His father would save him again being a village elder he banished Fenris from ever returning to save his life. Exiled, Fenris would travel the world as a wandering hero and mercenary. Waiting for the day he would return to his village and uncover the truth about his mission.
